Default Ups and downs

Finished a great 2 session hour multitabling session (4 tables) with a 25$ net profit bringing my poker bankroll up to 150$ for the first time ever since I started my project.
Unfortunately I decided to play another session hour which brought my bankroll back down to 138$.
I lost a full buyin with 10 10 all in preflop against 33.
Read more about this in the bad beat section.
I will not play more poker tonight....the 2 outer bad beat still has my pulse at a high rate.

Default Short handed tables

Shorthanded tables do not work particularly well with my short stack strategy. You simply lose too much money to blinds. I just finished playing 1 session hour at shorthanded tables and lost 12$. 8$ to lost hands and 4$ to blinds. That is in my opinion simply too steep a hurdle to overcome.
I will definitely stick to the full ring tables in the future

Default Another update

It's been a while since my last bankroll builder update...the reason is simple: I haven't played since my last update. Busy at work, busy with our webpages, busy with work...you know the drill.
Anyway I just finished playing a rather strange 4 session hour session. I lost 4 buyins but ended up losing only 2$.
I lost with JJ and AK against AA
I lost with a full house against 4 of a kind
I lost with AQ against AA and KK

Had I only won these hands I would have made a killer session of 62$+, but it was not to be.
Looking forward to reading about your projects

Default Great session

15 minutes on 4 tables....result: +33$

I tripled my money on one table with AA against KK and AK.
I doubled my money with A10 against A6.
I more than doubled my money with AK against 10 9 on a J 10 10 flop...the turn was a Q (pretty lucky).
My bankroll has soared to 154$
YEAH!!!!!

Default Uhhh so close now!

Yet another great session with a record net profit of 37$ has boosted my bankroll to just short of 200$. 192$ to be exact
If you have been following my progress you will know that reaching the 200$ mark has been my biggest goal ever since I deposited 35$ in my Celeb Poker account April this year.
Now finally it is within reach.

Default so close

I was up to 204$ in total bankroll, but lost a buyin and finished in 195$. I hope to reach my 200$ goal in my next session.

Default Took a beating tonight

Not my best session hour ever. Lost 3 buyins (-24$) and my bankroll is now down to 171$

Lost with QQ against AK (turn and river were AK)
Lost with AA against AKs (turn gave my opponent the flush)
Lost with 910s on a A52 board (2 of my suit) against KK

Instead of playing on, I decided to stop for the evening. No point in continuing when I am mad about my losses.

Default Perfect example of the short stack strategy in action

I look down at KK in early position and raised 7xBB to 3,5$. I get 2 callers.
The flop is 10 8 K, two spades. I go all in with my remaining 4,5$ and get one caller with QJ
Perfect, I get the money in as favorite which will make me a winning player in the long run.
Not tonight however since the river was an A
My bankroll is currently free-falling....

Default Arghhh when will I learn to listen to my intuition

I raise 6xBB with AQ and get a reraise allin by another short stack player who has me covered.
My intuition scream at me: "FOLD, FOLD, FOLD, FOLD.....FOLD you idiot"
What do I do? I call...he flips QQ and I'm down 2.5 buyins tonight.
My bankroll was soooo close to 200$ and now it's down to 155$.
Unbearable I tell you...unbearable. I need a poker break to re focus.

Default Whyyyyyy?

Another loosing session: -20$
I guess I can only blame myself. Twice I reraised an initial raiser all in with pocket sevens because I was convinced they had high cards.
It turned out that they had high pairs, QQ and KK respectively.
I also lost with AK against QK.
My netprofit of 125$ has been halved in 3 sessions.
Sucky Sucky is my only comment....
