Default Going for the mepusica Ferguson

Greeting fellow PokerBRB's

I have decided to stop my SNG project when I reach 50 played SNG's.
Instead I will start a MiniChris/Ferguson/mepusica cash game/tournament project with my Celeb poker account. I will give you a detailed project description later and keep you updated with all my sessions.

Here's my first quick update (details will follow later)

I have played two sessions and I am down with about 4$

Default Cash game project update

Damn poker...I get crap hands for 1,5 hours (seriously I am playing two tables and my two best hands were 77 and AK...that's two hands in 1,5 hours on two tables).
Then finally I get AA all in preflop against KK and another player. The player with KK hits a K on the river. That was a 24$ pot that should have gone my way!

So here is the dismal first update:

I have lost all my winnings from my SNG project and I am now down to my initial 20€ deposit.

I have played 4 hours of cash game sessions at 0,05/0,10$ and my net profit is -20$

I am going to whine and bitch about bad beats in this thread until my luck changes

Seems like you have just been unlucky. I been off poker since I tilted on buy in at a higher level (0.25-0.5) away and lost two sng at the same time.

Just hated myself afterwards.

Default What should my goal be?

I'm not actually sure what my cash game goal should be. Having said that, during my 11 hours of sessions I have come to realize that I am definitely a tournament player by heart, so I think my cash game project goal will be to increase my bankroll to 100€ and then start playing tournaments instead.
So there is a long way to go...my current bankroll is hovering around 20€

Default Update

I just finished two back to back sessions in a row with net winnings. This is a first since the cash game project started.
I am still a bit rusty when it comes to cash games. I need to improve my game to squeeze the last cents out of my opponents.
Today I have caught myself checking behind an opponent on the river after I had hit the hand I was drawing for. This is not good....I should have value betted!!!
Also I think I am a bit too agressive when I hit a really good hand on a safe flop (no draw opportunities). By default I always pot bet, but I might earn more if I take my bets down a notch.

Anyways here's my latest update:

session hours played: 14,5
+/-: 14,2$
(so I have currently lost a buck pr hour. I hope this statistic will improve soon)

Default Yeah

I was steaming after my bad beat but reloaded and remained focused. It payed off. I more than doubled my money on both tables...

Here's my latest update:

session hours played: 15,5

+/- : 2,29

I have almost recovered from my terrible project start.
